Three men face charges of serious dissident activity
THREE MEN HAVE been charged with a series of offences in connection dissident republican activity in Northern Ireland.
The men, all from the same family, were charged at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court charged today.
Paul John Duffy, Damien Duffy, and Shane Duffy, all appeared at Lisburn Magistrates Cour to face charges of conspiracy to murder, collecting information likely to be of use to terrorists, planning acts of terrorism and conspiring to cause an explosion. Paul John Duffy also faced an extra charge of directing dissident republican terrorism.
All three have been held in custody.
The three were part of a group of seven people arrested last week in relation to a terror investigation. The other suspects will appear in court in Omagh today, charged with a range of dissident terrorism charges.
