Met Éireann says there's 'no sign of any really cold wintry weather on the charts'

THE WEATHER WILL stay unseasonably mild this weekend with highs of 12 degrees.

Met Éireann says that while the outlook is changeable “there is no sign of any really cold wintry weather on the charts”.

Today will be a mix of sunny spells with some scattered showers over Connacht and Ulster and top temperatures of 12 degrees.

Tonight will be cold over southern parts with some frost and fog and lowest temperatures of 2 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mainly dry with a mix of cloud and some bright or sunny spells and highs of 11 degrees.
