Lidl recalls vegetarian mince due to possible presence of bits of plastic

On Tuesday, mince was recalled from Aldi for the same reason.

LIDL HAS RECALLED batches of vegetarian mince due to the possible presence of bits of blue plastic.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland said all batch codes and all best before dates of What’s Cooking? Meat Free Mince (454g) are being recalled.

The FSAI added that point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl stores. The product’s country of origin is the UK.

On Tuesday, five batches of Mae’s Kitchen Frozen Meat-Free Mince were recalled from Aldi for the same reason.
