IN AN INTERVIEW with the Irish Times today the Central Bank’s governor Prof Philip Lane has said that the mortgage rules will be reviewed in the summer.

Since their introduction there has been a serious slowdown in house prices in Dublin, but an increase outside of the capital.

Those looking to get onto the property ladder have also found it tougher, with larger deposits now required.

So this morning we want to know, do you think the mortgage rules have been a good thing?
