AN IRISH START-UP company which provides information to people planning weddings has bought a UK-based wedding business.
Mrs2Be.ie bought the similarly named Mrs2Be.com, which is based in Wrexham in north Wales.

The Irish site was set up in 2009 by husband and wife Keith and Claire Malone and is Ireland’s second-largest wedding website.

“While we expect to enjoy further growth in Ireland, this acquisition offers exciting possibilities because the UK market is approximately ten times larger,” said Keith Malone.

Around 4,000 brides and grooms use the Irish site on a daily basis.
