Did you watch MTV music videos growing up?

Five MTV channels will be axed at the end of the year.

WATCHING MTV MUSIC videos is a core memory for many people growing up, but the channel has announced it is axing five channels at the end of the year.

The move will end the days of 24-hour rolling music video broadcasts in every country except the US.

The five channels – MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s, Club MTV and MTV Live – will be cancelled after 31 December.
