92-year-old Robert Mugabe just threatened to punch a journalist

The Zimbabwean President wasn’t okay with discussing his plans for retirement.

ROBERT MUGABE HAS led Zimbabwe since 1980 and is also now 92-years-old.

So it’s not altogether unreasonable that Zimbabweans might be curious about his retirement plans.

With that in mind, a journalist on state television decided to ask him just that. Let’s just say it didn’t go down too well.

“Why is it I’m still there? Why do you want a successor?,” the President asked before raising his fists.

Do you want me to floor you with a punch for you to feel I’m still there?

Mugabe celebrated his 92nd birthday two weeks ago. In 2013 he was re-elected as President in an election that observers questioned the legitimacy of.
