320 new jobs for Dublin announced by US technology firm

The jobs will be created over the next three years as part of an expansion.

A US FIRM has announced a commitment to bring 320 new jobs to Dublin over the next three years as part of an EU expansion.

Massachusetts-based software manufacturer HubSpot – which has its EU headquarters in Dublin – made the announcement this morning.

The jobs will be across the company’s sales, engineering, marketing, support and services operations. It also announced opening a new office space in Dublin’s docklands to accommodate the growth.

Jobs Minister richard Bruton welcomed the announcement, saying that he was “delighted” to celebrate HubSpot’s achievements.

“The growth and success of technology companies has been a major contributor to the recovery we have seen in the jobs market and the economy over recent years,” said Bruton.

HubSpot is a highly innovative company in a fast-growing niche within this sector, and it was clear when we first met in Boston in 2012 that they had highly ambitious plans for their Dublin expansion.

HubSpot announced its Dublin Headquarters in 2012 and has since employed over 150 people across all aspects of its business.
