#MANDELA: A nation has said its final farewell to Nelson Mandela as the former South African president was buried at a funeral service in his childhood village of Qunu today.

#FINAL CURTAIN: Legendary actor Peter O’Toole has died at the age of 81. President Michael D Higgins said the world had lost “one of the giants” of film and theatre.

#PROTESTS: An estimated 200,000 people have rallied in the Ukrainian capital Kiev in protest against the president’s refusal to sign a landmark deal with the European Union.
