JEREMY CLARKSON HAS asked that people stop harassing Irish producer Oisin Tymon who has faced threats on social media.

Tymon has been the victim of harassment from ‘Top Gear’ fans angry at his role in Clarkson’s dismissal from the programme.

Returning to his home earlier today on a bicycle, the presenter refused to answer a question on whether we was worried about being arrested. He went on to say:

All I would like to say is I wish people would leave Ois alone because none of this is his fault.

Earlier today North Yorkshire Police stated that they have “a duty to investigate where we believe an offence might have been committed” and that they had spoken to some people present at the incident and there are “still others we need to speak to”.
