POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have charged a 46-year-old man with fraud by false representation and harassment.

The man was arrested in the Northampton area in England on Wednesday as part of a PSNI investigation into online blackmail.

He was brought to Northern Ireland where he was questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Police said the investigation began after a woman made a complaint about online exploitation.

The man is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court later this morning.

The charges are being reviewed by Northern Ireland’s Public Prosecution Service.
