Poll: Would you be willing to pay a year's rent upfront for a discount?

A Dublin landlord is offering a reduced rate if you agree to a year’s rent and pay upfront.

WOULD YOU BE happy to pay a year’s rent in advance if it gave you a significant discount off the rent rate?

An apartment for rent in Dublin city centre is listed on Daft.ie at €2,000 per month, but the landlord says the price of €1,600 per month is on offer if you pay a year’s worth upfront.

If you pay for six months upfront, the price would be €1,800 per month, which could tempt those looking to rent in the middle of Ireland’s current housing crisis.

So we’re wondering: Would you be willing to pay a year’s rent upfront if it reduced the rent?
