IT HAS BEEN an extraordinary year full of so many highs and all too many lows politically, economically, socially and culturally.
We’ve had two elections, two referenda, a eurozone debt crisis that rumbles on, an Arab Spring, Euro 2012 qualification joy, a harsh austerity budget and protests in the form of the Occupy movement to name but a few events that we’ll remember from this year.
Next year, while there are fears of Ireland entering another recession there is hope that a permanent solution can be found to solve the eurozone debt crisis, perhaps we’ll even get some of our debt written-off. Plus, we can definitely look forward to Trap’s men giving it a lash at Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
All that and not to mention the numerous things you the readers may be personally looking forward to as well as those who may not see much to relish in 2012.
So with the New Year just around the corner, we want to know are you optimistic about 2012?
