THE CAPTURE AND killing of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya yesterday has been the major international story of the past 24 hours, with world leaders and people in the street reacting to the end of his 42 years as a self-styled dictator.

The published press this morning have seem to reached a consensus of sorts in printing graphic images of his wounds and corpse on their front pages. (This slideshow from The Guardian shows a selection of international titles; these are the front pages from the Irish national titles this morning).

Do you think these graphic photographs of Gaddafi should be used on newspaper front pages?

Poll Results:

No, they shouldn't be printed at all (1243)
Not on a front page, but inside the paper is fine (745)
Yes (467)
I don't know (94)
