Poll: Have your kids ever had a 'snow day'?

Schools around the country are anticipating closure this week.

THE COUNTRY IS apparently set to be hit with continuous snow in the coming days as a polar vortex from Siberia collides with the incoming Storm Emma.

Schools and workplaces around the country have been anticipating closures ahead of a predicted Status Red alert from Met Éireann.

In fact, we’ve even increased our bread production as families prepare to batten down the hatches and stock up on essentials ahead of the storm.

If you end up stuck at home are worried about the endless boredom complaints from the kids, we do have some reassuring news – the worst of the snow is set to pass by Friday.

A massive snow storm might be a novelty for kids in certain parts of Ireland, but if you live in the north or west of the country, it’s all par for the course.

So, tell us: Have your kids ever been given a ‘snow day’ off from school?

Poll Results:

No, this could be their first (72)
Yes they have (55)
I don't know (4)
