There was this old dear with alzheimer’s sitting beside me in a pub. I could see she had 8 whiskeys in like 10 minutes. I wasn’t impressed with the barman for serving her, knowing she had alzheimer’s. The old lady turned to me and said I’ve only had 2 but I don’t feel well. So I told her I’d walk her home. She said she lived across the street. So I told my mate id be back in a few minutes and helped the old lady up and brought her across the street. When we get there she says, no actually it’s down this street, which is about a mile long :-) , so I help her down this street (the conversation was very funny. Ever minute or so she would ask who i was and id go through who i was etc :-) ). Finally at the end of this street we take a left and walk another half mile and finally get to her house. So I helped her inside and told her to get a cup of tea into her. I didn’t feel it was right to enter her house. I left and went into her neighbour to inform them and they said they’d look after her. But the best bit was just as I was leaving the old dears house she said, Wesley, I’ll never forget you, but by the time I had gotten to the end of the garden she had a look of, who’s the git in my garden lol sweet old dear. I was gone about 45 minutes lol
And for anybody who thinks I slagging Alzheimer’s, I’m not. Somebody very close to me had alzheimer’s and died.
