They’ll get to 2016 and beyond. The Irish have very short term memories. A neutral budget this year, a nice one next year that gives us an extra few euro each month with the promise of more to come and we’ll lap it up and forget all about the property tax and water charges. FF did it for years.

Aaron that’s what they’re hoping for, but FG might get back in but Labour have too many waiting the long grass to nail them for the lies they told.

Labour won’t, but FG will get back in handy enough, with who though.

“Forget all about the property tax and water charges”. Thank’s for reminding me about something that I don’t need reminding of !

By the time the election roles around we’ll all be seeing our actual water bills and be feeling the lpt. The budget gives with one hand and takes with the other.
So FG getting back in, IMO, won’t be a landslide by any means. We might even have a rainbow govt.
