100% support Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu views on Iran. Love, admire and respect the government of Israel, the people of Israel and the IDF. The only real democratic country in the middle east, nestled in a sea of barbarism and hatred, brave enough to stand up to the Israel haters, despots and dictators that surround it. Once again the mention of Israel brings out a frenzy of anti Israel comments from ignorant PLO terrorist loving Irish people who have not got a clue about the history of Israel and the middle east. Half of them could not even point Israel out on a map. To all you anti Israeli Irish people who supported the flotilla to Gaza, I ask: Where is your Flotilla For Syria? Your hypocrisy sickens me.

A non Jew is not permitted to become Israel’s Minister for Defence? In Ireland a Jew is the Minister for Defence – see the difference?

The IDF has had both a Bedouin battalion commander and colonel in its history. Where is your source that “a non Jew is not permitted to become Israel’s Minister for Defence”?

This is what i am talking about when I mention Irish peoples’s ignorance of Israel. There are 1.4 million non jewish arabs living in the state of Israel.60% of all college going students in Israel are non Jewish. 80% of girls attending Haifa university are arab. These non jewish arabs want nothing to do with Gaza, the west bank or the PLO. Do you think they would get the same opportunities living under the repressive middle aged regime littered with violence that the PLO and Hamas inflict on their own people. One of the top judges in Israel is an arab, do you think that if a jewish person living among palestinians would be afforded these opportunities? Give me a break

Outside of Israel Iran has the largest Jewish population in the middle east. They are guaranteed by law to have a Jewish MP. I’d say that’s very welcoming and open minded. Jewish people obviously agree as they voluntarily decide to live there instead of the hate filled “mother land” called Israel.
