I don’t usually comment on abortion issues as I really don’t care if it’s allowed or not but I would like to know why the government has decided to reverse the 2010 law.

Draft legislation published by the Spanish government would make access to abortion more restricted in the country, with groups saying it will force women to go abroad for terminations.

Probably because they’ve found they are dealing with a massive number of women using the right to free abortions as a method of contraception. This is an absolute disgrace. French women should be allowed to go out and get pissed, sleep with randomers and end up pregnant just like women in any other country safe in the knowledge that they can pop down to the abortion clinic on their lunch break and avail of the free services.

Once again, it is by definition impossible for abortion to act as a contraceptive.

    Oh dear..
As forms of contraception go, abortion has got to be the single most inconvenient, unpleasant method.

If abortion is provided as a free service somewhere then presumably actual contraception is also free. There are forms of contraception that last for years and are far more effective than the pill for preventing pregnancy, and they’re a lot easier than having to have an abortion. Not to mention far less unpleasant.

Anyone who would use abortion as their only method of contraception must be out of their minds..

Shame on you ! Je ne peux pas laisser dire ce que vous dites. What you say is just a big liar so ridiculous… Well done to the pro-choice activists in Ireland.
