    @Gavin Huban: It is. What is the point in being a member of a party if everybody in it holds different views? I think the real problem for them is that they try to represent themselves as left/liberal when they really aren’t and TDs like Toibin expose this. They are essentially a conservative party (Mary Lou moves from FF to SF. No change). I cant think of anything they have done that you would consider particularly ‘left’. They are just another conservative free market party as their record in the North shows. This ‘conscience’ number on abortion is a patch up job.

    @andrew: Iam sick and tired hearing about the six counties they got elected to try and bring something for the people of the 26 counties,they have sat on the wall for long enough,I really thought that when Mary Lou took over from Gerry Adams things would change for the better,but alas nothing has changed just the same old clap trap,they have become a one sided political party,they should have abstaned from the Abortion Referendum but saw votes and nothing else,Ihope they are not disappointed in the next general election,depending on these votes
