And finally, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The Economy we just had to have is performing exactly as planned with the most vulnerable of us paying the most. Enda Kenny and Micheal Noonan should be in jail. They planned this. They knew what would happen. Our homeless situation is not something that developed by accident or because of unforseen circumstances. When they sat in a room with their banker buddies and vile vultures, they KNEW what the cost would be in human lives and misery. They didn’t care. They still don’t. They still believe it was worth it. They still don’t care one iota for ANYONE left without a home or struggling with obscene rent. That is the quality of our leadership. These people do not deserve a place in our society. They do not deserve a place of leadership or responsibility. They deserve the inside if a prison cell. But maybe they don’t even deserve that – they deserve to be thrown to the wolves and left fighting for scraps on the midden heap that has become ‘working class’. Just as they have done to many of us. One can only dream…..
