It’s refreshing to see someone today with enough integrity and fortitude to own their mistakes and accept responsibility. It’s rare. Well done, sir. Now we shall see how tolerant society truly is.

    One wonders if he received payment for his integrity. Just odd that his admission appears as an exclusive in one national newspaper..

    It’s not an exclusive. It’s in all the papers. Not surprising as he spoke to reporters outside his home.

    I honestly think that people in general will accept this at face value because he has been so open and frank in accepting the full blame, no attempt to divert the blame or muddy the waters to save face, if he feels like running in an election in Ireland I’m already willing to vote for him knowing nothing more than that.

    Unfortunately I can’t see this saving his business. If he is in the security trade missing a small detail like this is unacceptable.

    Sadly I agree Alan. Who would hire him now even though he is truly remorseful and I bet he’ll not make that mistake again!!
