Some days are so hard that all you can do when things are finally quiet instead of sleeping all you can do is either worry about tomorrow or cry with exhaustion and frustration over how hard the day/week was.

May sound dramatic but it’s the truth. My son is so wonderful in so many ways but raising a child with autism can be soul destroying when things get especially rough and people stare and make hurtful comments.

I am his voice and I will fight for him until my last breath.

I’m with you there Laura. I feel every word of that. No one understands the difficulties and worries.then u see ignorant comments on here about autism which is sadly the general impression of what it is. People hear the word & automatically think of someone rocking back and forth stating into space and as u and I both know that’s not the case at all. We Have to stand up for our children in the face of discrimination. Life will be hard enough for them xx
