View more pollsPoll: Is Ireland doing enough to tackle climate change?
MINISTER FOR CLIMATE Action Richard Bruton is set to tell a climate summit in Spain today that Ireland is determined to play its part in tackling climate change.
This follows yesterday’s launch of the 2020 Climate Change Performance Index, a global report which ranked Ireland among the worst-performing European countries for climate action.
Ireland placed 41st out of 57 countries.
Bruton will tell the COP25 summit today that Ireland is implementing its Climate Action Plan, the government’s initiative to ensure the country reaches its 2030 emission targets.
So, today we’re asking: Is Ireland doing enough to tackle climate change?

It is over here, I’ve been using it for over a year now.
It’s not technically available/for sale here.
I’ve been signed up to it for months
Not in the republic Of Ireland you haven’t, as sky do not offer it, or support it here. I work for sky, so I know it’s not here on a business level.
As far as I recall, I live in the Republic of Ireland :D and yes I and am signed up to it. My banks statement doesn’t lie
It’s not now tv. I one hundred guarantee you. Now tv is not available here, at all. Call 0818 719 819 and ask. On demand is here. But now tv is not.
Scarce caught out yet again,LOL!
Why would I ring a number enquiring about a service that I have signed up to for ages? This is not a case of one upmanship, it’s a statement of fact. I am 100% signed up to to Now TV in the Republic of Ireland, with a Republic of Ireland billing address. I watch programmes most days on it. If I could attach a screenshot showing that I am logged into it, I would.
You’re not. Now tv is not here. I know you’re not trying to out do me, but it’s not now tv, it’s not here. Really. I’m not lying. How much do you pay? There is not even a billing structure for it here. There is not an roi cost/charge for it, as sky Ireland do not provide it. You may have a mini connector for on demand access but now tv it isn’t.

You may have a now tv box, you may use it, but it is not a service that Sky offer in the ROI. Sky have no billing, service or support structure for it here. SKy do not support Now TV outside the UK. You may have hacked into it, use a different VPN/DNS etc but Sky do not provide this service to you in Ireland.
Cheney, not caught at all bud. and a quick call/message/tweet to Sky would easily confirm that Now TV is not supported, or offered, or priced here.
I take it wesole makes the tea at Sky TV?
I have the Entertainment package on nowtv.com for 6.99 sterling, converted to whatever the euro exchange rate is, each month. I can watch 13 live channels or on demand series from those channels. I’ve also been watching sports via day or week passes as far back as 2013. I have a full order history showing in my account. As mentioned earlier, my billing address is listed as the Republic of Ireland and sky have no issue offering me the service and charging me for it.
I do rashers. It’s a job isn’t it? What’s to be ashamed of about working?
Not having a go Gary, just think you may be thinking of sky on demand, which uses a similar connection, via your sky set top box to connect to the internet and get access to catch up tv, box sets etc…
Ok Gary, what ever you say but you’re unique. The only person in Ireland who has it.
I never said I had a Now TV box, I said I’ve been signed up to Now TV for months. I certainly have not hacked into it or changed my location through any means. My billing address is listed, within the account, as Republic of Ireland. My payment card is registered in the Republic of Ireland. It is clearly listed on my statement. Believe it or not, sky are happy to take my money
If it’s available Here, Why are you paying sterling? Again, it’s not a service offered to roi customers.
I don’t have a television or a set top box. This is purely over the Internet, on my laptop, via nowtv.com. If it’s not offered here, then why have sky accepted my Republic of Ireland details and charge me for the service? That is a fact, regardless of the marketing etc..

Anyway, I’ll get compliance to run a check on ROI addresses tomorrow in the office, they can sort it out.
Scarce – Why would you bother doing that?
Scarce, have you been tested for Aspergers?
What a cock
I had a now Tv subscription on my AppleTV for about a week until Sky disabled me. I was using a UK billing address and paid in £ via my UK iTunes account. Somehow the Irish IP was flagged and I was cancelled. No refunds.
I had it for a month it’s garbage ,
Scarce I’m in Donegal and have had nowtv for over a year now. Signed up for it, payed for it for about 3 months or so, rang Sky to say I want to cancel my sub and nobody knew what I was talking about…seriously. I cancelled it online in the end and now just use it to stream via plex. Great wee gadget.
I was also signed up to NOWTV in Ireland too. Used it through the NOWTV box, which was delivered via Parcel Motel and on a Chromecast (Did a work around to get the App on my iPad). I unsubscribed a month ago as I wasn’t using it enough. I wrote about how to get NOWTV in Ireland here if anyone is interested. http://www.riotsandmoustaches.com/nowtv-cheap-and-easy-sky-tv/
