Coveney’s words are hollow – you cannot tell me that he is not aware that thousands of greyhounds are sacrificed
for this industry. If the IGB and the Irish Government truly wanted cradle to grave knowledge of where ex racing greyhounds go to, and unwanted culled greyhound puppies went, they would make sure that they had their own rescue kennels and ‘put their money where their mouth is’.
They are trying to sound as if they care. They may be callous and greedy but they are not entirely daft and know that these greyhounds are killed every year to make room for the next lot of greyhounds. Just more BS from Coveney and the IGB.
