A days notice? Disrespectful and an absolute disgrace of a human being. But should we be surprised? Not buying the legal reason. Feel for those that forked oit well over the odds for tickets.

    I don’t really feel for those who forked out, as you put it “over the odds”, to make this guy richer. A fool and his money…

    Anyone listening to Off The Ball? The organiser is not happy with the interview Ger Gilroy did with Lance. Great radio

    @Brian Buckley:
    Damn got out of the car before. Will have to listen to it later. Still if a speaker pulls out of a Q&A because some has already asked him hard questions i would seriously consider the speaker to be a pr*ck and question if the organiser was just trying to make money and not really going to make it a serious Q&A

    @Brian Buckley:
    Just listened to it? Richard Barrett is yer mans name, I hope to god he is not the PR guy because he was confrontational, and the worst confrontational guy possible in that he was making no sense and also wrong on points everywhere, had to skip questions, ignore observations etc. and then pretty much blamed the radio host.
    onezerocon….wont buy a ticket for them ever.

    @ Stephen Coveney

    I thought it was poor judgement out of him to cast some blame on Off The Ball considering he’s trying to start up Irelands biggest sporting conference. Ah sorry lad, but it’s probably in your interest to keep the Newstalk boys on your side if you want this thing to grow in the future…? Atrocious PR

    I don’t blame him for pulling out. He’s the designated badly of the indo group. Considering where there owners get there money Lance is a saint.
