@Willy Malone: Hospital waitings list 10 year ago was 27,000 & today it is up to nearly 800,000 poorest & sickest citizens including many children and elderly are on some type of health waiting lists. Literally no recovery in any sense of the word.

@Willy Malone: The lie that the poor are poor BECAUSE other people are not poor is the greatest deception of Marxist deceivers.

@Tom Newnewman: In actual fact, what he did say was, that the proletariat are being exploited by the bourgeoisie. This is because the bourgeoisie set the conditions of employment, or in the case of landlords, set rents high, while contributing very little to society and making profit from the labour of the proletariat. In fairness to you, Marx needs to be updated as the proletariats characteristics have changed, as our economy has shifted to a service economy. The precarious labour market has emerged and people are being exploited in other ways. However, the bourgeoisies characteristics have remained the same. They still exploit the labour market and still hike rents, while hiding profits offshore, or pay little to no tax, hence contributing less than they take from society.

@Tom Newnewman: In fairness that Karl Marx quote was made over a hundred years ago from an era that is largely incomparable with today’s more advanced society.
