I hope she gets the treatment she needs. Terrible that there are evil people who would try blackmail someone after a terrible diagnosis like this.

    @Ciarán FitzGerald: it’s him (Tom is a drag queen, not transgender and lives happily as a gay man) that got the diagnosis and has to live with it. I only get irritated, because people get caught up in over emphasis on gender pronouns, even when they don’t exist. The simple thing is a young man is being blackmailed by his former partner after catching a potentially fatal disease, something anyone can relate to. His alter-ego, Conchita Worst, is grand and will be fabulously back on stage soon.
