If its happening often as he claims it is, it’s a very big issue. The content in these emails should be password protected or something. The clown is the fool of a sender who doesn’t bother his hole checking the email addresses are correct when sending highly sensitive information. If I was their manager I’d suspend them.

If the domain names are so similar, then it’s a simple mistake to make, especially if the sender is busy or in a rush. Everybody makes them, and I’m sure it’s not the same person every time.

I get that people can be in a rush, but when such sensitive information is in the mix there has to be a level of attention to detail. It doesn’t take much to review your list of email addresses. This is plain lack of attention to detail and if I were the manager of the person who sent the email I would give them a serious dressing down for lack of professionalism. Being in a hurry is no excuse for doing a bad job.
