Cannabis should not be illegal, if you research it you’ll find out that it the most beneficial natural plant in the world, it is used widely for many health cures around the world!

    1 in 5 road fatalities is drug related in UK
    Garda need to drug test drivers here too

    Please check your facts , the drugs being referred to in the UK stats are LSD , cocaine , heroin and meth , you will notice cannabis was almost absent from those figures.
    Strange that you also ignored the fact that 1 in 3 roads in the UK had alcohol involved.
    Irish road traffic law has fallen apart on this issue also , see related article from Cork where driving under the influence of cannabis cases are being thrown out on the basis of faulty legislation , I dont condone driving under the influence of any substance that lowers ones ability to control a vehicle , but Irish law is so week that it cant even enforce basic road safety.
