THE RED HOT Chili Peppers have postponed their gigs in Dublin that were planned for tomorrow and Wednesday night.

The shows in the 3Arena have been called off as the lead singer Anthony Kiedis has the flu.

However, both shows have been rescheduled to September 20 and 21 2017 with tickets valid for the new dates.

Earlier today, the band released the following statement:

We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days.

Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year.

Tickets for Tuesday 20 December will be valid for Wednesday 20 September, while tickets for Wednesday 21 December will be valid for Thursday 21 September.
