THE MANDATORY RETIREMENT age for civil servants is to rise from 65 to 70 under new measures to be announced by Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe today.

Under current rules, those working in the public service must retire from their job at age 65. However, the new measures will mean people can work until they’re 70 if they so choose.

Of course, the age you would like to retire at may be very different to the age you expect to be able to.

We want to know: What age would you like to retire at?
