SINN FÉIN’S COMMITMENT to abolishing water charges if it gets into government has been the subject of much debate.

While the government claims the party is operating off a “broken calculator”, Sinn Féin has consistently argued that scrapping water charges is both realistic and affordable.

So when spoke to Gerry Adams this week, we asked him to explain how much it would cost and how it could be done:
