Sixth person arrested over abduction and murder of Ciarán Noonan

A man in his 30s was taken into custody in west Dublin this morning.

A SIXTH ARREST has been made by gardaí investigating the murder of Ciarán Noonan.

The man in his 30s was taken into custody in west Dublin this morning. He is currently being held at Store Street garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

The body of Noonan, 29, was discovered in a field in Co Meath earlier this month.

Witnesses had seen him being beaten and bundled into a car in the East Wall area of Dublin city on October 20.

Five other people have been arrested and questioned over the incident, but all have since been released without charge.
