Gardaí investigating sudden death of a man in Cork

The incident occurred at a house at High Street in the town at 9am this morning.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the sudden death of a man in Cork this morning.

Gardaí in Cork said that they were investigating the sudden death of a man in his late 40s in Skibbereen this morning.

The incident occurred at a house at High Street in the town at about 9am.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and the state pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí said that the post-mortem will determine the direction of the investigation.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information can contact Skibbereen Garda Station on (028) 23088.
