Turns out real dogs don't really like Google's robotic dogs
Even when it’s controlled by a human, they’re still not keen on them.

NOT CONTENT WITH just improving its humanoid robots, the Google-owned company Boston Dynamics has been working on other robots like Spot, its four-legged robot.

So while Atlus spends his time walking and being pushed around by humans, Spot is doing something a little more relaxing.

Unlike the other videos featuring Spot, this one is remote controlled by a person, the robot is said to be the only version of Spot available outside of the US military which was testing it out.

The US Marines were originally using a similar larger robot as a recon robot, but it was shelved due to it making too much noise. While Spot didn’t make noise, it was too small to carry heavy loads so work on both robots was put on hold.

Since it’s no longer has a career in the military, using it as a toy for dogs might not be such a bad idea. At the very least, it gives the dog some barking practice.
