Bruce Springsteen will be on tomorrow night's Late Late
ONE OF IRISH people’s favourite musicians, Bruce Springsteen, is set to make an appearance on tomorrow night’s Late Late Show on RTÉ.
Springsteen, who visited Ireland in May for two sold-out concerts at Croke Park, has a new biography out, Born To Run.
However, the Boss won’t be making the trip to Montrose.
It’s one of the very few times the Late Late has gone on tour (Gay Byrne upped sticks for London in 1989 to meet up with actress Jane Fonda) – this time the show is hitting London once more for its audience with Springsteen.
Of the London trip, host Ryan Tubridy said: “we hope that people will roll with it because we felt he was someone worth chasing.”
“When the Boss comes calling, you just can’t say no.”
The Irish people have a particular love of Bruce Springsteen, and him for us, and people will see that in the interview.
It’s set to be a bumper night for Tubridy, with BBC royalty Jeremy Paxman and Irish medal-winning Olympian Rob Heffernan also landing themselves in the interview hotseat.
