SHRISTI SHARMA WAS just 11 when she managed to skate for over 25 metres under 17 centimetre bars, smashing the previous world record for that length.

New footage of the feat from the Guinness World Records shows the Indian student gliding close to the ground while holding her body parallel to the bars.

To make it even more impressive, the rules for the title prevented her hands or fingers from touching the floor.

The achievement took place last year at Centre Point School in Nagpur, Maharashtr.

Shristi completed the course to overtake the previous record of 22.86 centimetres set by another Indian skater, Medvin Deva, in Chennai back in 2014.

Not one to try at home, kids.
