EVERY WEEKDAY EVENING, TheJournal.ie brings you five things you need to know before you head out the door…

1. #BODY: Human remains have been discovered in the Wicklow Mountains near Kippure. Gardaí had been searching the area after the disappearance of teenager Mariora Rostas three years ago.

2.#ANGLO: Demonstrations have been taking place today at two former Anglo Irish Bank buildings in protest at the upcoming payment of €1.25billion to the institution’s senior bondholders. One told TheJournal.ie: “What is happening is immoral.”

3. #REFERENDUM: Finance Minister Michael Noonan has insisted that no referendum will be held on the eurozone’s ‘fiscal compact’ treaty unless it is absolutely necessary according to Ireland’s Constitution.

4. #UCC: A student society at University College Cork has withdrawn its invitation to right-wing British National Party leader Nick Griffin for a debate on free speech next month, citing concerns for the “safety and welfare of our students”.

5. #BUFFETT: Has he ever worked on a railroad? It seems unlikely. But that didn’t stop billionaire investor Warren Buffett whipping out his ukulele and having a good ol’ singalong for Chinese New Year. Watch the video here.
