1. #COURT ORDER: A maternity hospital has secured a High Court order allowing it to withdraw life-support treatment to a severely brain damaged newborn baby, whose young mother died after giving birth, reports The Irish Independent,

2. #CRC: The former boss of the Central Remedial Clinic Brian Conlan will appear in front of the Public Accounts Committee today to account for salary top-ups given to senior staff members while he was CEO.

3. #JOBS: Tour operators Thomas Cook will close its Irish office and move completely online in the Irish market, leaving the future of its 44 employees uncertain.

4. #MURDER: Italian Saverio Bellante who is accused of murdering Tom O’Gorman has been moved from Cloverhill Prison to the Central Mental Hospital, writes The Herald.

5. #BAILOUT: Labour MEP Emer Costello has said the European Central Bank “held a gun” to the Government’s head over the bailout.
