• Six-year-old senior infants student Layla Karpuz has won Google’s latest doodling competition and will have her winning entry posted on the company’s Irish homepage tomorrow.
• The receiver for the Sunday Tribune has launched legal proceedings against the Irish Mail on Sunday over an issue which imitated the Tribune’s masthead and front page layout.
• Celebrity sighting: Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber – in Ireland for two gigs at the O2 this week – was trapped inside Monsoon on Grafton Street in Dublin by swarms of fans this evening:
