Poll: Did you watch Top Gear last night?

The new-look car show returned – minus Clarkson, Hammond and May.

TOP GEAR RECEIVED a mixed reaction from audiences and critics last night.

The long-awaited debut of the revamped show aired on BBC2, with new presenters Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc front and centre.

About 4.3 million people tuned in – much lower than previous series’ debut episodes.

Former presenter Jeremy Clarkson was sacked from the show last year after allegedly hitting a producer. He and his co-hosts, Richard Hammond and James May, are currently filming a new car show for Amazon Prime.

Some viewers didn’t warm up to Evans and Le Blanc last night, but others are keen to give them a shot.
