Four people hospitalised after collision at M50 at Red Cow

The collision north of the Red Cow roundabout or junction nine disrupted traffic this morning but the incident has now been cleared.

Update 8.30am

FOUR PEOPLE HAVE been hospitalised following a collision on the  M50 in Dublin this morning which had briefly reduced northbound traffic to one lane.

The collision north of the Red Cow roundabout or junction nine involved four cars at around 7.25am this morning with Gardaí forced to divert motorists heading northbound.

The incident has now been cleared and the four lanes have been reopened.

Gardaí say that the four people have been taken to hospital as a precaution.
