TWO MEN HAVE died following fatal stabbing incidents in Galway and Dublin last night.

RTÉ radio reports that the body of a man in his 50s was found on the rooftop veranda of an apartment block in Salthill in Galway city at around 10.30pm last night. The man is reported to have had a number of stab wounds and efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.

A woman was arrested a short time later and is being questioned in relation to the incident. A post mortem on the man’s body will take place later today.

Separately in Dublin, a man in his 30s has died following a fatal knife attack in the Sarsfield Road area of Ballyfermot at around 10pm last night. It is reported that a fight broke out prior to the incident.
