A MAN who may have been the target of a Facebook hoax was arrested this morning when a plane bound for Dallas had to return to Philadelphia.

A Facebook posting suggested a passenger on board the US Airways plane had brought explosives onboard, CNN reported today.

Authorities began searching the plane this morning while passengers remained on board but ultimately cleared it after passengers disembarked. And now officials are saying the man may not have actually meant any harm.

“The person may have been targeted as a hoax,” FBI spokesman JJ Klaver told CNN. “This is still being investigated.”
