USAIN BOLT SPOKE about his close relationship with Denis O’Brien this morning.

The Jamaican sprinter told The Pat Kenny Show on Newstalk, “He’s my boy, you know what I mean.”

Kenny replied, “He’s my boss too”.

Bolt continued, “He’s really a nice person and obviously he has faith in me, he has made me a job for life.”

The fastest man ever timed is now a lifetime Digicel ambassador and will be the chief speed officer. When asked what this means, he said, “It gets things done and gets things done fast and precise.”

The sprinter also spoke about his scoliosis condition, saying it shouldn’t hold people back.

“I’ve always had that problem but I keep it in check with exercises and stuff that really helps.

It’s harder work, you have to be a lot more dedicated and focused to keep it at bay.

Discussing his performance in Rio, he said, “I was in much better shape this season than last season.”

However, he added that he won’t be tempted to go for the next Olympics in Tokyo. Instead he said he would like to try other sports, “Football is always something that I wanted to try”.

Describing how popular he is with the crowds, he said, “I live for a great crowd, when you have a great crowd it really helps you run fast.

“It’s a wonderful feeling and I really enjoy it. It’s a great feeling to know that you are loved so much and you’ve worked so hard and people really recognise what you’ve done and appreciate what you’ve done.”
