Wrap up and be careful: It's snowy and icy out there
A NATIONAL SNOW-ice warning remains in place until 9pm tonight as snow falls across the country.
Met Éireann says that accumulations of snow are likely and wintry showers will come, mostly in the west.
Some of the wintry showers will also be thundery with hail at times and Met Éireann says it will “feel raw and very blustery”.
The highest temperatures will reach six degrees.
Tonight will see showers and lows of freezing.

Drivers are being warned to take care as many secondary roads may not have been treated and roads will be wet and possibly slippery.
In the west, there is snow on many roads.
Commuters are reporting delays to DART services southbound due to a signal fault at Killester.
