TWO YELLOW WEATHER warnings have been issued for the south of the country.

Met Éireann says that Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford can expect between 25 and 30 millimetres of rain.

In Cork and Kerry, that number will be up to 40 millimetres.

The warnings will stay in effect until 9am tomorrow.

Elsewhere, the day will be largely cloudy with some outbreaks of scattered showers. Ulster and Connacht will stay mostly dry.

Tonight will see more outbreaks of rain.

Tomorrow, however, will see the rain clear and temperatures hitting 21 degrees.
