Rain Rain Go Away

Hope you enjoyed the sunshine, tomorrow is set to be pretty horrible

There’ll be a risk of flooding over the weekend.

WE HOPE YOU enjoyed the sunshine and milder weather of recent days, as tomorrow is set to be pretty horrible.

Met Éireann has said rain will spread across the country overnight, becoming heavy and persistent in the west.

Tomorrow will be wet and windy in all parts of the country with rain continuing for much of the morning and afternoon.

On a more positive note, the rain will clear somewhat in the west towards evening.

Southerly winds will ease later in the day and veer west. Temperatures will peak at nine or 10 degrees Celsius.

Flooding risk

Met Éireann says it will become largely dry for a time, although rain may never fully clear on eastern coasts and will return to southern coasts.

Temperatures will dip to between one and three degrees in many places, but further to the southeast temperatures will be higher: between three and nine degrees.

More heavy rain is predicted for Saturday, it’ll spread northwards during the morning and continue through the afternoon and evening.

Further outbreaks of rain will take place overnight, with Met Éireann warning there could be some flooding.
