Gardaí urge mystery crash heroes to come forward

The incident happened outside the Rathfarnham Shopping Centre late last year.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for bystanders who helped a pedestrian and driver following a collision in Dublin last month to contact them.

A 75-year-old man was struck by a car on Butterfield Avenue at the entrance to the Rathfarnham Shopping Centre on 29 December.

The crash happened at around 11.30am.

The man is still receiving treatment in hospital following the collision. His condition is understood to be stable.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, and in particular those who helped both the pedestrian and driver after the crash, to contact them on 01 666 6500 or on the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
